VESC 75/300 liquid cooling

Hi,

I would like to use the 75/300 in a boat application. We now use a Plettenberg NOVA15 with the Plettenberg MST 60-290 controller and I think the motor can run more efficient with the VESC controller. As well as more option for controlling the motor (like speed control). Is the 3d file for the aluminium casing available so we can convert it to liquid cooling? I think this would be better to attach another aluminium block to the standard housing.

And the second question: is the aluminium housing connected to ground or is it electrically floating?

Thanks.

Niek

Hi

I have used a 2x 120mm cpu watercooling kit. All in one pump, radiator, cpu cooler. Just mount the CPU cooler on the underside of the VESC cooling plate.

At 100A contineus it only 12 degress warmer that the air. A singel 120mm is more that enought.

Hi,

Does anybody has drawings of the liquid cooled heat sink and recommendation about water pump. I am worried about alga and derbis in the hose. I can pay for the IP.
