I am working on a robot motion control project, I have two VESCs and two AS5047 encoders. Now I want to acquire position signals via VESC A and then control the position of VESC B via CAN as demonstrated in the video.

However, in VESC TOOL, we can only control VESC A to operate alone via USB, or control VESC B to operate in a specific position via VESC A and CAN.but I can not achieve synchronize position control by CAN between 2 VESCs.
My question is How to achieve synchronize position control by CAN between 2 VESCs,How to connect and set up two VESCs. Do I need change the FW?
I thought it was a encoder with an allen key in the shaft he uses to 'set' position in that video?
