nice solution 3x3 phase VESC out to 3 single motor wires

Hi!

Has anyone a nice solution to connect the 3by3 phase outputs coming out of a VESC 100/200 to the 3 phases of a motor? Except using a lot of solder?

Thanks,

Tobias

Probably pushing the current carrying capabilities of the Amass MT60 plug:

Thanks! I had the same in mind but not sure when the motor current is 150 A.

We've pumped some serious current through these without issue. Similar contact surface area to an XT150. Speaking of which we've also had some luck getting all 3 wires into the solder cup on an XT150 female connector. Then just heat shrink over the whole thing instead of using the plastic cover.

It would be great if they updated the design so that the big vescs had terminal screws for the phase connections instead of 3 wires each. Even just switching to a single 8 gauge wire per phase would make a lot of people happy.

2S battery to Vesc 100/250 tripple connector - kind of bitchy to solder 3x4mm2 to a single XT90 pin, but doable. Now I hope that Kirchoffs Law really applies and the current is distributed equally (Battery side is 6mm2). Should work for 100A Battery current.
