I'm having an issue with downloading the VESC tool. Every time I attempt to download the tool I get this error: "You have attempted to download an incorrect file URL too many times. Please contact the site administrator if this message has been received in error.".
I've been able to replicate with two different accounts and browsers. Had anyone had this issue before?

yeah exact same problem here today. just paid 10 euros and order was confirmed but i got the same message and files won't download... trying to get v5.3 for windows.

Just wanted to update and say that I have now been able to download all the VESC tools except the mac one (which is the one I wanted). If you are looking for the windows or linux version, I would try again it appears to be working. Not sure if I locked myself out by trying to download the mac one a few different times first and that is why I couldn't download the others (Just a guess).
Any help with the Mac version would be great.

Same problem here and getting the same error message. I am using a mac and trying to download the mac version with no luck after multiple attempts, computers, adjusting secrity settings etc, etc... very frustrating to say the least. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried various methods to download the files, VPN etc with no luck. This is very frustrating and there seems no way to contact the mythical administrator to resolve this.

I even created a fake account just to rant on here about this shitty year 2000 website, its complete utter shitshow of a download mechanism and its bullshit admins. Fuck this ill never pay for free software ever again

I found the check in the ubercart source code that makes the download fail and displays this message and commented it out. Hope it works from now on. Websites, php and javascript is really not my favorite kind of coding...
Just send me a PM or an email if you want a refund. There is no need to pay anyway if you don't want to, that is clearly stated in the descriptions of the downloads. The free of charge downloads give you the exact same software. There is also the option to go and compile the sources yourself.

I cannot download the Mac version, which is the only one relevant to me. The Mac version is also not included in the Beta package, despite it claiming to be for all targets. Would appreciate someone uploading the file if they can, or fixing the download issue.
The mac version download should work for the stable release, but it will probably never be part of the beta as I have no way to build it. For every release I have to ask someone else I can trust to build it and send me the file. If you want to help with the beta testing and you have a mac you have to either run a virtual machine or build it yourself from the sources.

I was not able to download the stable release last week, and when I went back to try again this morning, I noticed that the release has been completely removed from the files menu. I suspect you are working on fixing the download, so I'll give it a couple days before checking again.
On a different note, are there instructions for doing a source build somewhere? I'm happy to try that out, but the github repo has nothing instructional in the readme.

It just keeps saying ordered.
I'm going to give up on this tool and use something else.
