In the documentation section there are links to the VESC ESC hardware reference designs. Is there an existing BMS hardware reference design? If not, I would like to work on developing one.

I should mention that I did see the Trampa battery packs with the integrated BMS function, but I don't think that design is open, right?
We still test the stand alone BMS, so there is no HW schematic available yet.

Nice project! You should give it a unique name though as VESC refers to original hardware and software and VESC is a trademark.
