Regen question

Hi,

I have built a scooter powered by a 13S9P battery (max 52Volt * 36A ) .

I have one throttle connected to ADC1 and it works fine to run the scooter.

I have configured Vesc tool for regen also, but it seems that when i release the throttle, braking effect happens but no current flows to battery for recharging.

Any suggestion ? Sorry but I am new using Vesc.

Thanks

Massimo

The braking is actually free rolling. For braking you need a second input on ADC 2 and choose Current No Reverse Brake ADC 2 mode.

Charging the 13S beyond 52V is not good for 60V rated VESC hardware!

Ok, and what about a 12S 48Volt battery pack ?

And is there any way to have regen and bracking with only 1 input like in the e-pedal of the electric cars ?
