Hi,
Would it be possible to natively support PAS sensor to use it for a pedelec or speed pedelec?
I thought I could do it myself with an arduino but I don't know where to start and I have no knowledge at coding 😅
It would be great to be able to have a PAS sensor + throttle control at the same time
What do you think?
PAS -> arduino -> PPM can be found here

You can built your own PAS possible system by using a custom application. The VESC is a microcontroller, even better as an arduino
This type of answer/advise is useless, if you know how to add an app then help on this, otherwise, description from Benjamin is superficial and not very helpful.
I liked Vesc and used it with pedelec controller, however by now I ditched it out in favour of Chinese controller which I find much better as being specialized for bikes. I had too many problems with pedelec-vesc chain, after upgrade serial stop to work and this forum is almost useless, all support effort is on commercial products to make money, which is understandable, but unfortunate for enthusiasts which are left behind...
The feature is requested long time ago, however, Benjamin is not willing to implement due of potential liability issues in breaking up stupid EU law on bike power limit...
Hi,
@parasole is 100% right, there is no step by step tutorial, and you can not force everyone to have knowledge in coding. I don't know anything about programming, and I did not buy the vesc to develop my own firmware (anyway I wouldn't be able to). I bought it because it is highly customizable, reliable, and so small compared to Chinese ebike s***** controller.
The thing I don't understand is that Benjamin wouldn't be responsible if we decided to break the law with such a function. My ebike is using the vesc anyway, and it is not street legal, however it is not convenient at all to use because there is no torque sensor nor PAS sensor.
Please Benjamin help us with functionality
