Would someone be able to point me to the settings to maximize amp/currently flow while full throttle?
I have a 150kv inrunner motor (attached to a paddle board), with a 12s (12c) battery, 44v, 20mamp. The motor can handle up to 120amp.
When I the throttle from a stop, it accelerates nicely, however after a few seconds it slows down, and then runs steady state at a slower speed. For a 12s, 12c battery, in place of running 20amps for an hour, would like to run it at 50 amps for 20 minutes, is this setting possible? What settings would allow the vesc to always draw as much current as possible from the battery?
Second question, on my remote, when I push the throttle forward, would like to spin the prop forward, and when pull back, don't want smart break, but rather have the motor go in reverse. Would anyone be able to point me to documentation or recommend settings for this configuration?

Possibly you reach near 100% duty cycle, so your motor RPM is determined by the battery voltage. When fully charged, you can go up to 7500RPM, and it will quickly decrease, then decrease more slowly - due to the battery discharged voltage behavior. If you need more RPM, a higher kV might be necessary. Otherwise, no sure you can get so much current from your battery without poor efficiency/damaging it - depends on the battery, but high output current capacity does not always mean you can do it continuously. Possibly there are also other settings (like VESC input minimum voltage - for battery protection) that prevent you form reaching the current you want.
