Im currently trying to connect my esc to the wizard on the vesc tool. For some reason the device will not connect. Message reads please connect vesc via usb port and make sure the vesc is powered on. The vesc is powered on I can see the 2 lights glowing, one green, the other blue. So i know the vesc is powered and i plugged in the USB cord and tried all 3 usb ports on my PC to no luck. Same message, about making sure its powered on and usb plugged in. How do i get this esc to connect to my PC? The auto connect doesnt work, non of the connection methods work. Any advice on how to get the esc to connect? Thanks
This is the message i get when trying to auto connect the esc. Could not autoconnect. Make sure that the USB cable is plugged in and that the VESC is powered.
The vesc is powered and pluged in via usb port. Any ideas and how to proceed?

A picture of your setup might be useful.
Are you sure it's not a charge only USB cable, they're evil little sods and sneak in.
What operating system are you on?
You ought to be able to see if a new serial port pops up if you connect to the powered VESC.
