VESC 4.12 - Data loss on power off

Hello guys,

is it true the VESC 4.12 will lose its saved configuration parameters once you unplug it? I also read (offline) that this can be prevented by using the Vedder SparkProtection switch as it upholds a small voltage after it is turned off (I tested this with a multimeter on a Sparkprotection 1.3, but the voltage in off state was just about 0.02 V). Is my information correct?

No, the VESC 4.12 won't lose configuration parameters when power is removed. I have been using VESC 4.12's on two ebikes for nearly 2 years now, neither one of them has forgotten the configuration.
