Problems with FOC, duty cycle and current

Hello to all!
I have to finish a college project and I am desperate, to say the least, to make the motor do something, ANYTHING!

I have a battery pack 10S that altogether make 40V

a VESC BLDC MTVESC50A - 50A Fw now v5.03, Hw  410

a brushless motor

When I try to use it in FOC mode it right away shows fault_code_high_offset_current_sensor_1

When I change to BLDC, which I'm fine with, it behaves in a weird way. If I  send a current of whatever amount of ampers, duty cycle immediatly reaches 95%, the current starts to oscillate from a number between 1 and -1 (never reaches the value tho:

If I set the DC at, for example, 0.2, the current oscillates from -6 to 6A.

but the motor of course, never rotates. Detection of BLDC and/or FOC parameters always fails.

The thing is that 2 weeks ago everything was working perfectly.

Is anyone able to shed some light?

Thanks,

Experiment to see the behaviour:

Supposed to perform a current sweep from 0 to 10 A, step 2 and over 2s

This is the only component that seems to be burned.. But I'm not sure
