Is the as5048 encoder is available for VESC 6?
And i want to use Arduino to control VESC to build a 3 axis gimbal by using the position control.if the encoder data can be send back to Arduino.
Hi, we never tested the AS5048, only the 5047. Si I can't tel you if it works straight away.
I am pretty sure that you can extract the real time date and use it.

I think the AS5048 should work from a quick look at the datasheet, but I haven't tested it. The encoder data can be sent back to the arduino - since the latest firmware it is in the end odf the COMM_GET_VALUES packet.
