Brake lever Cutoff switch seperate from Regen braking/throttle wheel

Hey guys looking for some help here. I have a thumb wheel throttle that does Regen braking when rolled backwards that I normally setup current no reverse brake center. I also want my hand brake levers that have a motor cutoff switch to work . Is it possible to do this? I don't want them tied to Regen or anything just to cut the motor when opened , as they are normally closed . In addition is it possible to power and turn on the brake lights with the vesc?

I have my brake switch connected to PPM so that the signal pin is lowered to earth (black) potential when brake switch is activated, with a physical pull up resistor connected between signal and +. In VESC software I enabled brake cut off switch on PPM. I'm using a FS75100.on FW ver6.0.

Hope that helps

I was also looking for an easy way to control my citycoco's light using VESC. I understand that light control is not in the scope of VESC and it shouldn't be, a tool to solve a problem is, in general, a great idea.

However, I found this: https://spintend.com/collections/diy-electric-scooter-parts/products/ewh.... But you will also need a 12V power supply.

I bought one myself, but haven't used it yet.
