I've got a 75100 and it works perfect.. until I disconnect it from my computer. When I do, the green light indicating it's receiving a signal from the controller dims, indicating it is not. I have the VESC connected to a microcontroller and can move my motor completely indepedent of anything I do on the computer.
It works fine even when VESC project isn't even open on my computer. But as soon as I unplug it stops working. Any ideas? Thanks.
Well, after a week the issue magically disappeared. My favorite kind of disappearing. It could be because I started powering the raspberry pi through the 5v out on the ESC rather than through somewhere else.
