Delay on reverse function on electric boat

Hi,

Does anyone know how I can reduce the time delay from forward to reverse operation? I guess it has something to do with a "max erpm before full brake" parameter, but I cannot find

this setting in the android Vesc Tool.

I am using vesc6 with firmware 5.1 on an electric boat. To configure, I use android Vesc Tool 2.06.

I'm rather new to VESC but i've been toying around with most settings including this.

Look in the App settings page,

if using Current mode with smart reverse you can set the ERPM limit there which will not activate reverse unless below that value.

Ramp Time, you can try setting it to a low number (0 is too much imo)

Set Max Duty cycle to use in reverse.

Thanks for your answer, @stevo11811 I am using "duty cycle reverse button" with an ADC twist throttle. What do you mean with "smart reverse"? I don't find this function.

I will play with the negative ramp time.

Did you get any further on this? I'm using ADC and duty cycle reverse center. After a hard regen brake, it's like it takes a long time to go forward with full power. Like 2 sec to get back to full speed. I have it set to .2 sec. When I first power it on, it works flawlessly.

What you describe sounds more like you have a fault when you break hard, Vesc stops for 0,5s Fault Stop Time and then it lets you go into reverse. Have you been looking for faults in Terminal?
