Controller: Flipsky FSESC75200 Pro (Aluminum PCB)
Firmware tested: v6.00, v6.06, v7.00 (including 75_300_R2 and currently trying FSESC_75_200_ALU)
Motor: 72V 2000W hub motor with Hall sensors (no motor temperature sensor)
I’m trying to complete FOC motor detection but cannot get a successful result.
Symptoms:
- Motor spins and makes loud grinding/growling noises during FOC detection.
- Resistance (~3.5 mΩ) and inductance (~350 µH) are detected correctly.
- Flux linkage is always 0.000 mWb when detection succeeds.
- Hall detection sometimes completes but other times fails to generate a hall table.
- I’ve also received Phase filter fault (invalid phase filter readings) and Overcurrent fault during detection.
- I’ve tried disabling phase filters, reflashing firmware, restoring defaults, and multiple motor detections.
- I have also tried swapping phase wires and hall wires with no improvement.
The motor spun smoothly with the original controller before it failed, so I’m trying to determine whether this is:
- a firmware/hardware target issue,
- a defective FSESC75200 Pro,
- or a motor/hall sensor problem.
Has anyone experienced 0.000 mWb flux linkage together with phase filter/overcurrent faults on an FSESC75200 Pro? Any suggestions on what to test next would be appreciated.
