FSESC 4.2 motor power limited in sensored mode

I’m driving a 5065 motor using a FSESC4.2. When I run it using the hall sensors, power out from esc is limited to around 150W.  When I run it without using the hall sensors, there are no power limit issues. What could be causing it?
