Frankensteins Monster, The FrankenVESC with some RGB

Hi folks, i like to make stuff and i like Power electronics and i have a UNU scooter i want to make some wheelies.

Sooo the idea was to build my own VESC because ist more expensive then buying one und it makes fun.

the first version was made out of parts i had laying around and from old forklift controllers.

For my scooter size is not a big  problem and i want the VESC a bit bigger for thermal Handling

so one PCB for the Power stage and one Logic Board (just like 500A forklift controllers)

Goal... 80V 400 Amps continuous.

here some first pictures of the Prototype

and Version 1.0

Very interesting! Is it open source or do you have any other information on the parts used?

its based on a stm32f405 Dev Board and some Aliexpress hall current sensors. The Fet's are IPT015N10N5

with some IR2011 Gate driver.

at the Moment i still fix some small Bugs (had swap a few pins without notice).

ist already pushing above 100Amps without time limit or real heat sink.

more testing tonight
