I have been trying for days to connect the vx2 to my stormcore 60d both parts are brand new. I can get the VX2 to pair to the receiver but its not being picked up through the stormcore/vesc tool. Can some one please help me? Im pretty good with electronics but I am stumped and this board is my only transportation.

Once you have setup, go to the Remote/app settings in the vesc tool. Choose the UART option on the left and change Control Type from "Off" to "Current". This will get the remote working
Also check the wiring. You may need to reverse the tx/rx on you connector. Diagram should be on the paperwork that came with the remote
