Makerbase (new) 84200hp 'quirky' on/off 'bug'?

There’s a possible fault on mine, the ‘sw’ connection only works every 2nd toggle to switch and the voltages dont seem right. ie

h = on sw=3.25v
l = off sw=0v
h = on sw=3.0v <-----
l = on sw=0.125v <------
h = on sw=3.25v
l = off sw=0v

repeat…

SW line is connected to my bike alarm/ign. control is via pc123 opto-coupler as the output is 84v. vesc GND and SW are connected direct to opto-coupler.

I have already had 1 runaway event with it jammed at 100% throttle on my 3kw bike, thankfully bike was on a stand. unplugging throttle did not stop this...and it would not turn off I had to find my phone to disable the bms.

Hi Read Datasheet for limitation of pc123 max 70V and do not forget bouncing voltage between VDC an GND  Vceo-? Connect it to 5V and GND.

I have a pair aswell, it works properly with App settings -> Shutdown Mode ALWAYS_OFF and TOGGLE_BUTTON_ONLY

With the timed ones it doesn't seem to work/needs to be switched off 2 times for whatever reason.

The "SW" on/off function of 84200hp works by connecting the SW control pin to GND in the shutdown state. When it is necessary to power on, disconnect the SW pin from GND and leave it in a floating state.
