I keep seeing this error when connecting vesc to tool. "The connected VESC has newer firmware than this version of VESC Tool supports. It is recommended that you update VESC Tool to the latest version. Alternatively, the firmware on the connected VESC can be downgraded in the firmware page. Until then, limited communication mode will be used."
It updates but it says it fails to erase boot I believe.
When I try to run motor detection I Get same error message as the ESC has newer firmware please help anyone I am also running focbox TENKA if that helps.
Might be olter version of the vesc tool installed on your PC. Verify your vesc tool version from the menu Help -> About VESC Tool. Check if it is v6.02 or higher. If not try to download the newer version.
This is a FW revision number issue. The Tenka is no original HW and has third party FW installed that probably doesn't follow VESC versioning.
I am having the same issues with a focbox unity right now. I just downloaded the newest version 6.02 and also tried the mobile app on android. Both cpu and phone fail at uploading the bootlog (times out). Help pleaseeee!
