Good morning, everyone,
I have just started a new project, to build an 8-metre airship, electric and powered by solar panels.
The nuc of the airship is a Jetson Agx Orin, and after several attempts with Esc's, I decided to move onto Vesc's. The system is controlled with Ros2 and as a language I use python. The aircraft has 4 motors, each of which can be steered via servo motors. I have implemented through pyvesc the control of the motors that turn the propellers, however I am having difficulties controlling the servo motors for the orientation of the thrusters. Would you have any advice on how to approach this? Do you recommend anything other than pyvesc for controlling motors and servo motors?
Thank you very much!
What are servos controlling? Pitch, roll, yaw? With 4 motors positioned strategically there should be no need in servos in an airship, at least not on the thrust motors.
